How did Majestic Filatures come into being?
In 1989, Rolland Chelly came up with the concept "make a T-shirt of a noble and high quality". He was inspired by a father who told him, "If you're going to do something, don't do it like someone else.", with this thought he passionately set to work with Joseph Tricot. This was followed by a strong collaboration in manufacturing classic T-shirts over the course of the past 35 years.

Majestic Filatures was the first brand to offer T-shirts in the ratio of 70% cotton and 30% cashmere, giving the garment a sophisticated look and comfort.
