Returns and Refunds Policy – Le Marais

At Le Marais, your satisfaction is very important to us. Below, you will find our returns and refunds policy, in which we explain our 30-day returns policy and your legal rights in the EU.

1. Return period: 14 days

1. General returns policy (14 days)
   

• You have 14 days from the day you received your order to request a return.
• Your item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unused, unworn, with labels attached and in the original packaging.
• You will also need your proof of purchase or invoice.

• You will then receive further instructions and a return shipping label.
• Unfortunately, we cannot accept items that are returned to us without a prior return request.

2. Statutory Cooling-off Period in the EU (14 Days)

1. Notwithstanding the above

• If the goods are shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt of the items, for whatever reason, without giving any reason (your statutory right of withdrawal).
  
• In this case too, the product must be unused, unworn, with labels and in the original packaging.

1. Refund

• When invoking the legal cooling-off period, the full purchase amount and any standard shipping costs will be refunded in the event of a full return.
• The direct costs for returning the goods are for the customer, unless otherwise indicated.
  

Exceptions / Items that may not be returned

1. Hygiene & Perishables

• Personal care products (e.g. beauty products) whose seal has been broken.
• Perishables (such as food, flowers or plants).

1. Hazardous Materials
   

• Items containing hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases (follow the transport regulations).

1. Personalised Items

• Custom-made or personalised products that have been manufactured according to your specifications.

1. Gift Vouchers and Discounted Items

• Sale items and gift vouchers cannot be returned.

4. Damage and Problems

1. Inspection upon Arrival

• Check your order immediately upon receipt.
• If anything is defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered, contact us immediately at webshop@lemarais.nl.
  
• We will then work with you to find a suitable solution.

5. Costs of Returns and Risk

1. Costs

• The costs of returning your product(s) are for your own account, unless stated otherwise. The exact rate depends on the carrier and the size and weight of your parcel.

1. Insured and Traceable Shipment
   

• We recommend that you insure the return shipment and/or send it with a track & trace option. You are responsible for the item until it is delivered to our warehouse.
• If a return shipment is lost or damaged before arriving at Le Marais, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

6. Exchanges

1. New Item
   

• The fastest way to receive the desired item is to register your current item as a return, choose store credit and use it to order the correct size as soon as your return has been accepted.

7. Processing of Returns and Refunds

1. Inspection & Notifications
   

• Once we have received and inspected your return, we will inform you whether the return has been approved or rejected.

1. Refund

• If approved, we will process the refund within 10 working days via your original payment method.
• Please take into account the processing time of your bank or credit card company.
  
• Please contact us at webshop@lemarais.nl if it has been more than 15 working days since your return was approved but you have not yet received a refund.
